Please note that no booking is secure until a deposit is received. To ensure your reservation is confirmed, we require an upfront deposit as a part of our booking process. B L O O M É reserve the right to alter our pricing on our literature and website at any time without prior warning.

1. Booking & Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure the date. No booking is confirmed, and no date is held, until the deposit is received.
  • Final Payment or Balance Due: For larger installations or high value bookings, payment is due at least 14 days before the event. For grab and go displays or smaller orders and gifts, the balance will be due upon delivery/collection. Failure to pay on time may result in late payment charges which shall be calculated in accordance with The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (as amended) from the date the payment was originally due until the date of actual payment.
  • Payment in Full: 100% of the cost may be requested if the order is at very short notice (less than two weeks) or balloons under £100 order value.

  • Cancellation Policy: Please note if B L O O M É does not receive the final payment on time (2 weeks before of your event), we have the right to cancel your order and therefore we will not make your balloon decoration. We do not make any balloons or decorations that have not been paid in full in advance. Also keep in mind the 50% deposit will not be refunded as will cover our administrative expenses and materials that we have already purchased for your order.

    B L O O M É reserve the right to charge an administration fee for any late payment notices which we send to you in the event of your late payment. We also reserve the right to cancel any discount that we may have offered to you, to alter your payment terms and/or to suspend or cancel future deliveries in the case of late payment. 

    If B L O O M É are not paid we may instruct a debt collection agency or law firm to collect our payment (including any interest and/or late payment charges) on our behalf. In such circumstances you will be liable to pay an additional sum to us which will not exceed the reasonable costs that we may have to pay the debt collection agency or law firm, who will add the sum to your outstanding debt on our behalf.

  • B L O O M É reserves the right to convert any balance to credit to be redeemed against a future booking. B L O O M É will provide a credit note listing the cancelled booking date and the value of the credit along with a redemption time period (Normally one calendar year from date of cancelled event), subject to our availability.

2. Liability & Responsibility (The "Handover" Clause)

  • Risk Transfer: Responsibility for the balloons, displays or gifts passes to the client as soon as they are installed, delivered or collected.
  • Damage Policy: B L O O M É are not responsible for any damage, popping, or deflation caused by improper handling, environmental factors, or accidents once the balloons, display or gift is in the client's or venue's possession. No items are covered for replacement or refund after delivery or collection. Once balloons are delivered or collected, they do become your responsibility and we cannot held accountable something go wrong.
  • Venue Rules: It is the client’s responsibility to check if their venue allows helium, props, LED lighting or signage, wall-mounted structures or if there are any other restrictions. If they don't, and the setup is blocked, payments are still non-refundable. 
  • Insurance: It is the clients responsibility to ensure that the venue has in place adequate insurance to cover the equipment against fire, theft, loss or damage at all times during the hire period.
  • B L O O M É shall not be responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property arising from the use of any equipment, props, balloons , gifts or other whether purchased or hired. B L O O M É shall in no circumstances be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage or extra costs incurred caused by the negligence or other default in the performance of decorative duties or once the client has taken possession of goods, including temporary rented items as exampled.

3. Balloon Care & Temperature Warnings

  • Temperature Sensitivity: Helium expands in heat and contracts in cold. Moving balloons between temperatures can cause temporary deflation or bursting.
  • Outdoor Disclaimer: B L O O M É cannot guarantee the lifespan of any balloons, inclusive if placed outdoors due to unpredictable weather, wind, and sun.
  • Equipment Ownership: If your install includes hired props, frames, hoops, LED Lighting or signage, shimmer walls, florals or any other items that are are remain the property of B L O O M É that are damaged or go missing during your event until the time of collection, you will be liable for all costs to replace. All of the above must be returned in good condition. 
  • Safety Warning: Mandatory warning - Do not inhale helium. Latex and popped latex brings serious risk of choking hazards.
  • Environmental Policy: B L O O M É does not support balloon releases and encourages clients to follow the industry-standard 'Pin It and Bin It' policy

5. Installation Access

  • Venue Access: The client must ensure that B L O O M É have adequate time and space to set up. Delays caused by the venue or client may result in an incomplete set up or additional hourly fees. 
  • Set Up & Collection: We will make every effort to deliver, set up and collect at the times requested by the client; however, removal will be as promptly as possible. We cannot guarantee collection immediately after use from every venue at the same time. It is the client´s responsibility to ensure that any hired goods are kept dry and in a secure place until collected.

6. Delivery Fees:

  •  Delivery fees may apply for travel to set up and collection of hired items, unless prior agreement has been made at time of booking. Additional fees may be incurred for late collections after 9pm or next day collections.

7. Delivery & Collection: 

B L O O M É are not liable for damage to the balloons due to client negligence or improper handling once the balloons has been delivered / collected from the premises. Storage/transportation information provided upon delivery or collection.

8. Media: 

B L O O M É reserve the right to display images of products and venue setups for use in any way B L O O M É deems fit i.e., Advertising, Social Media, Website, etc.

If any provision of this agreement is found by any court, tribunal, or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be wholly or partly illegal, invalid, void, voidable, unenforceable, or unreasonable it shall to the extent of such illegality, invalidity, voidness, voidability,
unenforceability, or unreasonableness be deemed severable, and the remaining provisions of this agreement and the remainder of such provision shall continue in full force and effect.

The contract into which these terms and conditions are attached, any separate list or specification expressly referred to in it and these terms and conditions constitute the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter of this agreement and supersede all prior agreements, negotiations and discussions between the parties relating to it.
